Sunday Drive

We thought it would be fun to go for a drive on Saturday and enjoy the colorful trees. We went up through the canyon and were amazed at the array of colors and beauty. It was all beautiful but we went to take a picture, what do you think? No camera. It was too beautiful to miss so we decided to go up again on Sunday. These are some of the pictures. I have lived here for over 6 years and have not gone here, and now I am wondering why. We will definitely have to come during the summer. One thing that was interesting was on Saturday the trees were all range of colors, but on Sunday, just one night (well it was freezing and snowed all night there) everything was just yellow, but it was still beautiful. It is amazing how much things can change in just one night. All the snow in the pictures, yes, even at the very top, was brand new just from the previous night.









This just sneaks up on you on the road.




We found the Oompa Loompas secret store of chocolate!! Really, this is fascinating. I've never seen water so red. The picture doesn't do it justice.
