Discoveries

We have made a discovery! A few posts back I wrote about an uninvited guest at our house, specifically in D.'s room. Well, I was wrong. This uninvited guest was not a stowaway in D.'s room but in fact something that never even entered the house. I have discovered that D. is allergic to mosquitoes. "Mosquitoes" you ask? Yes, mosquitoes. Those pesky little creatures that I really don't think have any use whatsoever other than to bother you.

My top reasons I am glad we don't live in an area where there are more mosquitoes than people:

1. He would get bitten every day by one or more of them.

2. Whatever area got bit would swell to three or more times the size of what it previously was.

3. He would be sporting a lot more band aides than normal because if not, then:

a. Each and every bite would get infected, resulting in more trips to the doctor and more expensive medicine.

b. He would have more scars on his body after the month it would take to heal.

Yes, it is a good thing we don't live in an area that has more mosquitoes than people.

Wait, does an area like that really exist?

It was the right blog!! Thank you so much for your pointers! Unfortunately, we don't live in an area the basket people serve, but my MIL does. I'll suggest it to her! Thanks for the response! It was very appreciated.
